California and Puerto Vallarta based Aviana Productions helped seal a startling come-from-behind victory for Mexican Federal senator Mario Lopez Valdez, popularly known as Malova, in the hotly contested race for governor of Sinaloa state.

As Malova's initial campaign and media consultants, Aviana Productions engineered web based videos through social marketing, video campaign crowd warm-ups, as well as late term-television commercials that helped the underdog PAN/PRD candidate ensure victory.

The popular Malova delivered a stunning defeat to a PRI party that initially expected an easy sweep in the state that is often called the country's bread basket.

Lopez-Valdez, who founded a chain of hardware stores throughout Sinaloa, has been the Mexican State's federal senator under the PRI party.  When he failed to get the PRI's endorsement to run for governor, Malova bolted the party and garnered the coalition endorsement.

"We had a charismatic candidate with a clean record and a terrific life's story," said Jon Duncanson, of Aviana Productions.
